May 24, 2025 – Hyperdrive, poised to become the premier stablecoin money market on the Hyperliquid blockchain, today announced the successful closure of a $6 million Series A funding round. The round was co-led by prominent venture capital firms Hack VC and Arrington Capital, with significant participation from a strong consortium of investors including Delphi Ventures, Proof Group, SIG, Caladan Group, Amber Group, CMS Holdings, Breed VC, and notable angel investors such as IzeBel, Will Price, Blurr, Anthony Ghosn, and Taiki Maeda. Flowdesk was also acknowledged for their support.
This funding milestone coincides with Hyperdrive's eagerly anticipated launch on May 27th, where it will introduce its comprehensive suite of tools designed to unlock stablecoin liquidity and provide robust yield opportunities within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Hyperdrive aims to build "the final layer of stablecoin yield infrastructure needed," recognizing the exponential growth of the stablecoin market, which has evolved from an experiment into a multi-hundred-billion-dollar asset class in just five years.

- Utilize Liquid HLP: Use HLP (Hyperliquid Liquidity Provider) tokens as collateral or leverage HLP to maximize yield.

To incentivize early adoption and reward effective strategies, Hyperdrive will be launching with a points program designed for its initial users on the Hyperliquid platform.
