Plural Secures $7.13M Seed Round Led by Paradigm for Climate Finance

September 4, 2025 – Plural, a pioneering platform dedicated to unlocking investment in climate assets through on-chain financing, today announced it has closed a $7.13 million seed funding round. The round was led by Paradigm, with significant participation from Volt Capital, Maven11 Capital, and Neoclassic Capital. This investment will empower Plural to further develop its tokenized asset platform, building the essential financial rails for the rapidly expanding "Electron Economy."

Plural is at the forefront of modernizing financial infrastructure for energy, compute, and beyond. The company’s innovative platform leverages smart contracts to connect allocators with high-performing energy infrastructure opportunities, making a multi-trillion-dollar distributed infrastructure market accessible to a broader range of investors.

"The electron economy needs new financial rails – and we’re building them," said Adam Silver, Co-founder of Plural. "This funding from Paradigm and our esteemed investors validates our vision to create a more accessible, efficient, and transparent financing mechanism for the critical climate assets driving the global energy transition. We are enabling programmable capital to flow into projects that are vital for a sustainable future."

Plural specifically targets the $300 billion-plus middle market of electron economy assets, which includes distributed renewables like solar and storage projects, demand infrastructure such as data centers and batteries, and alternative energy sources like renewable natural gas (RNG), carbon capture, nuclear, and geothermal. These assets often offer compelling target yields in the mid-teens, yet have historically been overlooked by larger infrastructure funds.

A cornerstone of Plural’s offering is its commitment to rigorous selection and regulated oversight. Every project undergoes a comprehensive five-point diligence process designed to assess quality, risk, and return potential. Furthermore, Plural operates with a regulated infrastructure that includes a FINRA-member, SEC-registered broker-dealer and transfer agent, ensuring independent legal review, professional fund administration, and transparent reporting. The Plural team brings over 20 years of collective experience in fund management and investment, having managed multi-billion dollar portfolios across structured credit products, private market deals, and infrastructure investments.

The new capital will be strategically deployed to enhance Plural's proprietary platform, expand its world-class team, and accelerate the onboarding of a greater volume of high-quality climate asset projects. This will further solidify Plural’s position as the leading on-chain financing solution for family offices, financial advisors, individual investors, institutional investors, alternative asset managers, and insurance companies seeking exposure to the electron economy.
