This latest funding, secured through strategic partners including echo.xyz, nativecryptox, q42_co, wagmi_vc, and tpcventures, is specifically earmarked to fund testnet operations and support the first wave of applications building on Fluent.
This new capital builds upon Fluent Labs' significant $8 million funding round announced on February 19, 2025. That round was led by Polychain Capital, with participation from prominent firms such as Primitive Ventures, Public Works, Dao5, Nomad Capital, Builder Capital, and Symbolic Capital, alongside a diverse group of angel investors. The combined investment underscores strong investor confidence in Fluent’s disruptive vision to usher in "The Era of Expressivity" for blockchain development.
Fluent is an Ethereum Layer 2 and framework that revolutionizes smart contract development by allowing contracts from different Virtual Machine (VM) targets—Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), and WebAssembly (Wasm)—to directly call each other within a unified execution environment.
